Bet IT Best secures world-first licence in Malta

BIB Limited, a subsidiary of Bet IT Best, has become the first company to obtain a sports betting brokerage licence from the Malta Gaming Authority.

The firm will now use software and services from Bet IT Best to provide its service offering to bookmakers in markets across Europe.

The licensed ‘Sports Betting Brokerage’ service can be seamlessly integrated into Bet IT Best’s existing ‘Sports News’ and ‘Livescores’ products.

Nico Jansen, chief executive of Bet IT Best, said: “By holding an official licence from an all-over-Europe, well-known and highly-respected entity, we have official proof of the overall reliability of services, processes, expertise, financial capabilities, validation of our business model and reliability of our IT hardware and software.

“This was the last piece nearly all bookies have been asking for. Due to regulatory requirements, bookies have not been able to fully rely on our offered services, as we are offering a licensable service.

“Now, bookies can rely on our licence, which will finally answer all outstanding questions and doubts which rose up by their respective compliance departments.

“As of now, we are finalising the integration of further bookies, which had just been waiting for this class 3 licence.”
