The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has given its approval to the egaming hosting facilities operated by Sure.

The telecommunications company, which provides services across the Channel Islands, will be able to use the certification to offer solutions to egaming brands in Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey.

Sure has data centre facilities on each of the Channel Islands.

Richard Moore, data centre and hosted services product manager at Sure, said: “We’ve been the leading player in the egaming market for over a decade and have developed a strong client base that knows how seriously we take issues of security and availability.

“As our clients’ business models change and they move their services into the cloud, it’s important that they can see our cloud services are also approved by the regulator, in the same way as our data centre services.

“This certification maintains that confidence and is an important tool in helping us develop new business across the Channel Islands.”
