The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has terminated the operating licence of Run Lines Limited after it found that the company provided “false or misleading” information during its application process.

In a statement on its website, the UK’s national regulatory body said the licence had been withdrawn under section 342 (4) of the Gambling Act.

Following an investigation, the UKGC said that the licensee “provided false or misleading information during the application process, with regard to the identity, ownership, integrity and competence of those connected to the operating licence”.

The body added that the licensee also “provided false or misleading information regarding the financial arrangements in respect of the start-up of the licensee’s business”.

The application included representations made by Balvinder Sanghera, the sole owner and director of Run Lines.
