Sports betting supplier Kambi Group has agreed to extend its technology partnership with LeoVegas to cover all of the online gambling operator’s sportsbooks.

Sports betting supplier Kambi Group has agreed to extend its technology partnership with LeoVegas to cover all of the online gambling operator’s sportsbooks.

Under the multi-year deal, LeoVegas’ range of sports betting brands, including BetUK and 21.co.uk, will now be powered by Kambi.

BetUK's sportsbook was previously powered by SBTech, through a deal agreed in July 2018 with Rocket X, the parent company of a number of brands acquired by LeoVegas in January that year.

“We are pleased to continue our sports betting journey with Kambi, a partnership which has brought about real success as we continue to deliver on our sports betting ambitions and becoming the King of Casino,” the operator's chief product and technology officer Mattias Wedar commented.

Kambi helped LeoVegas to launch its debut online sportsbook in 2016 and has powered the offering for its core brand ever since. The operator currently takes bets in a number of markets, including Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark and Spain.

“We are proud to have agreed this partnership extension with LeoVegas, and that Kambi will now provide its sports betting services to the other popular brands in the LeoVegas group,” Kambi chief executive Kristian Nylén said.

“Kambi is the partner operators can trust to provide the powerful sportsbook core and flexible technology they need to unlock their sports betting potential, and it is fantastic to have this recognised by an operator as highly regarded as LeoVegas.”
