Danske Spil names Mørch Koch as new chief executive

Danish state-owned operator Danske Soil has appointed Susanne Mørch Koch as its new chief executive.

Danish state-owned operator Danske Soil has appointed Susanne Mørch Koch as its new chief executive.

Mørch Koch will replace Christian Madsen, who in June announced that he would be stepping down after 12 years in the role.

Madsen will remain with the company for a transition period, with Mørch Koch to take full leadership responsibilities from April 2017.

Mørch Koch joins Dankse Spil from Danish railway operator Danske Sverige, where she served as chief commercial officer from 2013 until 2016.

The Danish national has also held a number of other senior roles in her career, advising on Danish private and state-owned enterprises, as well as working with both government and public stakeholders.
