Betway has agreed to serve as the title sponsor of two major British horse racing events next month.

The betting operator will sponsor the Kingmaker Novices’ Chase at Warwick on February 11, a race won in the past by the likes of Long Run and Finian’s Rainbow.

In addition, Betway will sponsor the full card at Wincanton on February 18, with the feature race of the day being the Kingwell Hurdle.

The deals come after Betway in October of last year signed up to the British Horseracing Authority’s (BHA) Authorised Betting Partner (ABP) programme.

Anthony Werkman, marketing and operations director at Betway, said: “Betway took a significant step in becoming an Authorised Betting Partner in 2016 and that status now affords us the opportunity to invest further in British racing.

“We look forward to building relationships with new racecourses going forward, while also bringing our customers great offers.”
