Under the agreement, Betway will take part in a variety of events to support the EFDS.

The partnership will begin this weekend with the Silverstone Half Marathon, where Betway employees will compete to help raise money for the organisation.

“Companies like Betway enable us to increase opportunities and make active lives possible,” EFDS chief executive Barry Horne said.

Richard Akitt, chief executive of Betway, added: “The work that the EFDS do is crucial to the health and well-being of thousands of people across the country, and we couldn’t be more proud to support the charity throughout 2016.”
