German Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund has entered into a partnership with bwin.

The deal will run for an initial four seasons, from 2017-18 to 2020-21.

bwin will serve as a ‘champion partner’ of the club and benefit from branding placement on various surfaces inside the team’s Signal Iduna Park home.

In addition, bwin will provide Dortmund fans with odds and betting information through its mobile application and website.

“In bwin, we have a partner by our side that has a longer association with German football than any other company in the betting industry,” Dortmund’s director for sales, marketing and business development, Carsten Cramer, said.

“bwin has already entered into several partnerships with major players on the European football scene over the course of recent years.”

Stephan Heilmann, who is responsible for bwin’s activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, added: “We want to involve the Dortmund fans in our sponsoring as much as we can and we have a range of exciting ideas that we will soon implement both inside and outside the stadium.”
