Inspired Gaming Group has entered Greece’s virtual sports market after securing a new partnership with OPAP.

Under the agreement, Inspired will provide virtual sports online and across the OPAP retail network in the European country.

Games on offer will include the new ‘Rush Football 2’ product, in addition to ‘Rush Horses’ and ‘Rush Greyhounds’, with others to be added at a later date.

Inspired’s virtual games are due to go live with OPAP in the early part of next year.

“Inspired’s virtual sports is a proven product with players in many other European jurisdictions and I am confident that our own customers in Greece will also enjoy playing these entertaining games,” OPAP Group chief executive Damian Cope said.

“This will be one of the first new products that we will launch in line with our long-term 2020 Vision and we expect to make further announcements on additional product launches in the coming month.”

Luke Alvarez, chief executive of Inspired, added: “The announcement of this deal is a significant one for Inspired and OPAP; together we will bring best-in-class virtual sports to the Greek market, and I’m confident that this represents the commencement of a fruitful business relationship.

“Inspired’s virtual sports have driven material incremental income in several international markets, and we expect the same in Greece.”
