NordicBet scores Swedish Hockey League partnership

Nordic-facing online betting operator NordicBet has agreed a new partnership with the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the country’s top division of club ice hockey.

Under the agreement, the terms of which were undisclosed, NordicBet will serve as the league’s exclusive sports betting partner.

The firm will also provide its customers and the wider ice hockey community with a range of league-related content, such as statistics, updates and highlights.

Jesper Svensson, commercial director at NordicBet, said: “Hockey interest among our customers is huge and with the SHL deal, we want to strengthen our hockey product and make visible NordicBet to millions of hockey fans across Sweden and Europe.

“This is a long-term investment that gives both us and SHL opportunity to grow further together.”
