Unibet brokers sponsorship deal with Essex CCC

Unibet has agreed a deal to become a sponsor of Essex Country Cricket Club.

The initial agreement will run for two years, from the 2016 season through to the end of the 2017 campaign.

Under the deal, Unibet will serve as the official betting partner of Essex CCC and sponsor one of the stands at the team’s Essex County Ground home stadium.

A Unibet-branded Land Rover vehicle will distribute free bets and merchandise to fans at all Essex CCC home games.

In addition, Unibet will offer Essex CCC fans a bespoke welcome offer when they sign up with the online gambling operator, as well as a range of betting markets on all Essex CCC matches.

“The backing of such a large company can only bode well for the future, as the club looks to grow both on and off the pitch,” Essex CCC ambassador Graham Gooch said.

Chris Watson, marketing manager for Unibet UK, added: “As official betting partner we look forward to providing Essex CCC fans with a variety of exciting and innovative bet types while allowing people to bet live in play, with ball-by-ball betting on big matches.”
