Marathonbet has announced Natalia Zavodnik as its new chief executive.

The gaming operator said Zavodnik, who has worked for Marathonbet for 15 years, has replaced Viktor Hoffmann, who resigned earlier this year.

Zavodnik previously served as deputy chief executive for the company that is the shirt sponsor of Scottish football club Hibernian, Spain’s Málaga CF and Russian Premier League side Dynamo Moscow.

A Marathonbet statement read: “The business reluctantly accepted Viktor’s resignation for personal reasons, but extends its sincere thanks for his expertise and vision during more than a year at the helm.”

Marathonbet is the registered domain name of Marathon Alderney which operates under an e-gaming licence issued by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Marathon Alderney is also licenced by the UK Gambling Commission.

It is believed that Hoffman is to take up a role with Addison Global, a Gibraltar-based mobile-first platform set to launch in early 2018.
