Betgenius hands Italy-facing role to Desideri
Sports betting solutions provider Betgenius has appointed Luca Desideri, formerly of SBTech, as its new commercial director for the Italian market.
In his new role, Desideri will assume responsibility for driving growth across the Betgenius product set, including its turnkey platform solution and the provision of live data and in-play trading services.
Desideri has more than 15 years of experience of working in the Italian gambling market, having most recently served as SBTech’s country manager for four years.
Prior to this, he was product manager for sportsbook and casino at Cogetech in Italy, and also spent eight-and-a-half years with Rome-based, gambling-focused management consultancy MAG.

Betgenius has been active in the regulated Italian market since 2015.
