Maxima Compliance appoints Zaha as first chief product officer

| By Nosa Omoigui
Compliance consultancy Maxima Compliance has appointed Catalin Zaha as the supplier's first chief product officer.

Zaha previously held senior positions at Paddy Power Betfair and – after the group rebranded – Flutter Entertainment, and will oversee the growth of Maxima’s Complitech product suite.

Zaha said: “Maxima Compliance has been on my radar for a couple of years because of the innovative and technology-led approach they take to compliance.

“I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time for Maxima, and look forward to further building out what is already a world-class product offering.”

Zaha becomes Maxima’s latest recruit to a newly-created role, after the appointment of Filippo Ferri as the company’s chief commercial officer earlier this year.

Maxima Compliance CEO Antonio Zanghi said: “Maxima Compliance continues to build a diverse range of products in support of the compliance needs of our customers, so it was time we appointed our first ever chief product officer to oversee these products.

“Catalin joins with exceptional pedigree and experience at one of the world’s largest gaming companies. He’s going to be a fantastic addition to our team.”
