Goodwin assumes responsibility for overseeing the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP), which services over 20 lotteries worldwide.

The role includes Goodwin leading operations for a team of instant product management experts in the US. She will also work with lottery customers as well as sales, marketing and government affairs teams within Scientific Games.

A Scientific Games veteran, Goodwin has been working with the business since 2017. She was most recently senior director of SGEP operations and global instant products.

Goodwin previously served in a host of other roles including instant game manufacturing coordinator.

Scientific Games hails Goodwin’s “extensive knowledge”

John Schulz, president of Americas and global instant products for Scientific Games, says he welcomes the appointment.

“We believe that Angela’s natural leadership skills, overall management philosophy and extensive knowledge of our SGEP operations will provide the strategic vision to evolve the programme and achieve growth for our lottery customers by responsibly driving instant product performance,” Schulz said.

SGEP programmes currently manage instant products valued at $39.6bn (£32.5m/€37.6m) in global annual sales.
