Sportradar names Riviere as new chief people officer

Sportradar announced the appointment of Severine Riviere as its new chief people officer with immediate effect.

In her new role, Riviere, will be responsible for all aspects of Sportradar’s human resources strategy including talent management, leadership development, total rewards and workplace culture.

Riviere joins Sportradar from Fyffes International, where she served as its chief human resources officer for the past 18 months.

Prior to this, Riviere was senior vice-president and chief human resources officer at Vorwek Group, while she also spent time as senior HR director for Asia Pacific at Steelcase and also talent and leadership development lead for Novo Nordisk.

Riviere also spent eight years working in a number of roles for the Heineken Company.

“I’ve been truly impressed with the emphasis Sportradar’s executive team places on building an engaged, inclusive and high-performing culture,” Riviere said. “I’m looking forward to working with our talented teams and utilising my deep experience in crafting impactful strategies to attract, engage and retain the best talent, in the interest of ensuring our continued momentum.”

Sportradar chief executive Carsten Koerl added: “Severine’s passion for people and excellence in the people services practice will be a tremendous asset to Sportradar.
