Online gambling software provider Pragmatic Solutions has appointed Ashley Lang, a director at bet365 and the founder of Odobo, as its new chief executive with immediate effect.

Lang joins Pragmatic having most recently served as chief executive of Lottomart between January 2018 and February of this year.

Prior to this, Lang served as chief executive of igaming content marketplace Odobo from March 2011 to June 2016, and also had a short spell as head of marketing for Mansion Group.

In addition, Lang has been a non-executive gaming director at bet365 since May 2008, and will continue in this role.

“I joined Pragmatic Solutions to tell this story and deliver intelligent platform technology to our operator partners,” Lang said.

“Our model is a partnership with our customer where we both win when we help them grow their business and maximise their margins by bringing powerful technology and cost efficiencies.

“With Pragmatic Solutions operators can rely on us to focus on this core technology stack and help them accelerate into new markets, lead with new content, and streamline operations.

“I am excited about the next phase for Pragmatic and our operator partners and welcome a discussion with any operator who is looking to upgrade their core technology and optimise their business.”
