Racing Post has appointed Nikos Kryvossidis as its new chief technology officer and Edgardo Savoy as director of software engineering as part of an ongoing strategy to focus on digital output.

Kryvossidis joins from Camelot Global, where he had also been serving chief technology officer with responsibility for Camelot UK Digital.

Prior to his time with Camelot, Kryvossidis had a spell as senior vice-president of Openbet.

Kryvossidis replaces Paul Carse, who left the company earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Savoy has joined from Paddy Power Betfair to take on the new role of director of software engineering.

Savoy served in a series of roles across retail and digital during his time at Paddy Power Betfair.

Alan Byrne, chief executive of Racing Post, said: “Having the expertise, flair and skills of both Nikos and Edgardo is a great boost for Racing Post.

“Both have considerable experience, not only in all technical aspects of our industry but in working for global organisations.”
