SIS bolsters sales team with new hires

SIS has appointed Andrew Grimshaw, Angelika Heimeier and Joe Andrews to its sales team.

Grimshaw joins SIS after an eight-year spell with At The Races, where he was responsible for selling digital streaming rights and marketing opportunities to new and existing customers.

Heimeier previously worked for Playtech BGT Sports and joins with 16 years’ of experience in international B2B sales.

Grimshaw has spent over 20 years working across markets in sport, fashion and music.

Sandra McWilliams, director of sales at SIS, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome three such highly-experienced individuals to the SIS team.

“Andrew, Angelika and Joe bring with them a wealth of sales knowledge, not only from the betting and gaming industry but from other sectors too, which will be highly beneficial for us as we look to further build our online and international business.”

Meanwhile, SIS has brokered a pictures and data partnership with Kindred Group-owned Unibet.

Under the deal, SIS will provide Unibet with its British and Irish Greyhound service that includes 42 fixtures each week.

The agreement also includes live pictures from Latin American racecourses, covering around 2,750 races each year.

In addition, SIS will supply pictures from 22 meetings in Dubai and a further 296 events from its Mauritian courses.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Unibet to help them launch their 24/7 racing product and our exclusive greyhound and horse racing content will provide their customers with round the clock competitive betting action,” McWilliams said.

Erik Bäcklund, head of sportsbook at Kindred Group, added: “This new partnership with SIS will see us deliver a much more comprehensive greyhounds and horse racing betting product to our customers, featuring thousands of events across numerous time zones.

“This allows us to provide our customers with live content already proven to be a success elsewhere, ensuring the best possible betting experience at times that suit them.”
