Sky Betting & Gaming appoints former Hills director

Sky Betting & Gaming has named David Hopkins, formerly of William Hill, as head of programmes.

Hopkins began his new role in October and has assumed responsibility for the delivery of key, strategic programmes at the company.

Prior to joining Sky Betting & Gaming, Hopkins spent more than six years with William Hill in a number of positions, most recently as director gaming product development from February 2016 to October this year.

Hopkins also held the roles of programme manager and project manager at the bookmaker, which he joined from twentysix in March 2011.

In addition, earlier in his career, Hopkins served in a number of roles with Provident Financial Group, including project manager and PC support team leader.
