Online casino Mr.Play, of which Aspire Global owns 40%, has launched a sportsbook product, featuring 35 sports and over 65,000 monthly events.

According to Aspire, the launch was timed to be close to the start of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League seasons as well as the British Champions Day in horse racing.

The sportsbook will include features such as in-play betting on 20,000 events per month, full and partial cash-out and Aspire’s Robotip bet recommendation engine.

“We are very excited about the launch,” Hanan Greenberg, co-founder of Mr Play, said. “Expanding into the major sports segment has been part of our growth-plan since the founding in 2017, and the launch is a significant milestone for us.

“When founding Mr.Play, we wanted to make use of our collective experience and expertise to create a strong brand and a best-in-class iGaming-experience, and I am incredibly proud of the result.

“We are always open to opportunities where we can leverage our strong position in new profitable ways,” Aspire Global chief executive Tsachi Maimon said. “We are excited to be part of this joint venture and look forward to materializing the potential of this product in our role as a full partner.”

Mr.Play was founded in November 2017, and uses technology and in-house serviced provided by Aspire.
