Nicloas Béraud, the founder of French sports betting operator Betlic, is to return to the company as chief executive.

Béraud previously served as chief executive at the firm and will now reassume the role, following the recent departure of Isabelle Andrès.

Having been part of the team that founded ‘BetClick Limited’ in 2005, Béraud left the firm in 2011 following its merger with Mangas Everest Group.

“I am delighted to be back at the head of Betclic Group, which I led until 2011,” Béraud said.

“I am convinced that with the involvement, expertise and passion of the group’s employees, we will be able to accelerate our development and innovate by reinventing Betclic.”
