Betfred launches Metric Gaming’s golf betting solution

Bookmaker Betfred has moved to enhance its sports betting offering by integrating Metric Gaming’s Golf Service product. Customers will be able to bet on hole-by-hole,18-hole and 72-hole markets, all simultaneously.

Bookmaker Betfred has moved to enhance its sports betting offering by integrating Metric Gaming’s Golf Service product.

Betfred customers will now be able to bet on hole-by-hole markets, as well as 18-hole and 72-hole markets, all simultaneously, across Majors, PGA and European Tour golf events.

Metric will deliver Golf Service via its Modulus Platform. Operators that take on the solution can do so as a fully managed service or price feed.

Golf Service is also customisable, with a configurable event and market offering and bespoke place and dead heat terms.

“The Metric golf product will differentiate Betfred from the marketplace offering our clients an exciting range of new fast moving in play markets,” Betfred group trading director, Craig Reid, said.

“This week’s launch of the product could not be better timing as we ourselves launch sponsorship of the Betfred Masters.”

Metric CEO, Martin de Knijff, added: “Betfred will immediately gain a product advantage on Golf, one of the most popular recreational sports globally, through a service that provides an unparalleled product breadth and depth throughout the year.”

Aside from the Gold Service, Metric offers a similar racing solution and has also recently rolled out a football offering.
