Digital Sports Tech has expanded its reach into Latin America after securing a partnership with Mexican sportsbook Caliente.

Under the deal, Caliente will launch Digital Sport Tech’s Player Props, which enables customers to create and customise bets on player performance across various statistics and sports in real time.

Caliente will be the first operator in Latin America to roll out Player Props, with the launch coming after a recent integration with Coral in the UK and Europe.

MadBookie in Australia also went live with the service last year, while Ladbrokes Australia is due to launch Player Props early this year.

“Digital Sports Tech’s Player Props product is going to be a great addition to our sportsbook offering, as it caters very nicely to our customer base given their penchant for betting on the big US sports,” Caliente Interactive chief executive Emilio Hank said.

Ari Lewski, executive director of Digital Sports, added: “Latin America is a significant sports betting market and we’re really excited to be able to offer our game-changing player proposition betting product to Caliente, another highly-respected, tier one sportsbook.

“We’ve seen from all our partnerships how popular player related betting opportunities are and we believe it’s going to be one of the biggest growth areas for sportsbooks in 2017.”
