DraftKings has extended its digital sports betting reach into Iowa by rolling out a mobile sportsbook offering, in partnership with Wild Rose Casinos and Resorts in the state.

Consumers must first register in-person at any of the three Wild Rose casinos in Clinton, Emmetsburg and Jefferson before being able to place bets via the DraftKings digital platforms. This in-person sign-up requirement will only be applicable until January 1, 2021, after which players will be able to register online.

Once registered, customers can bet on all major US sports such as professional and college football, baseball, professional and college basketball, hockey, golf and motor racing. In addition, for a limited time, new customers can receive a sign-up bonus of up to $1,000 (£775/€926).

Wild Rose and DraftKings have been running retail sportsbooks in Iowa for a number of months, as part of a wider deal agreed between the two parties in August of last year.
