Sports betting and daily fantasy sports operator FanDuel Group has expanded its partnership with Sportradar to launch live streaming for US customers for the first time.

FanDuel will deliver the service via its sports betting app and feature coverage of various football and tennis events from around the world via Sportradar’s Live Channel Online.

Live Channel Online will now be included directly into the FanDuel Sportsbook interface, incorporating live sports events with betting lines and data, with the customer able to place in-play bets on the event they are watching.

The launch follows a successful trial period, which saw the Paddy Power Betfair-owned operator stream live coverage of a major tennis tournament via its app.

“The ability to live stream professional sports inside our sports betting product will provide our customers with a first class betting experience,” FanDuel Sportsbook general manager Niall Connell said.

“By making Sportradar’s Live Channel Online available alongside our betting markets, FanDuel Sportsbook continues to be the premiere sports destination in the ever growing sports betting industry.”

Neale Deeley, vice president of US sales and gaming at Sportradar, added: “We have been longstanding partners of both FanDuel and PaddyPower Betfair across a wide range of betting and fantasy services. We’re proud to be an ongoing part of their US expansion plans.”
