FantasyDraft to acquire Fantasy Aces

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) company FantasyDraft has agreed a deal to purchase assets from South Carolina-based Fantasy Aces.

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) company FantasyDraft has agreed a deal to purchase assets from South Carolina-based Fantasy Aces.

The agreement includes the acquisition of Fantasy Aces’ player base and their respective account balances, with customers now able to access DFS contests through the FantasyDraft website.

Upon confirmation of the deal, it was also announced that Robert Gates and Thomas Cipolla have resigned from their positions as directors of Fantasy Aces, while Michael Olsen has also stepped down as chief financial officer.

In addition, Fantasy Aces shares have been halted on the TSX Venture Exchange.

FantasyDraft and Fantasy Aces will make a further announcement about the deal in the coming days.
