FSB Tech has entered into a partnership with Oxygen 8 Gaming, the owner of sports betting operator BetYetu.

Under the deal, BetYetu, which primarily focuses on football betting, will now benefit from a multi-channel offering, including a new pool betting product and SMS text-based betting.

The agreement comes after FSB Tech last year also brokered a similar deal with Tanzania-based Mkekabet.

“We have been very impressed with FSB’s ability to tailor their platform to our needs and with the flexibility it provides,” Oxygen8’s head of gaming Mark Robertson said.

“It’s an exciting time in Africa and we’re looking forward to using and extending our reach in Africa to make the most of what is still a relatively untapped market.”

Richard Thorp, business development director at FSB Tech, added: “Given Oxygen8’s mobile marketing expertise, Tola’s billing platform and our next generation technology, I’m very confident that this will be a hugely successful partnership, building on the existing success we are already experienced with Mkekabet in Tanzania.”
