Global Daily Fantasy Sports has launched an Italian-facing network through a partnership with Lottomatica.
Under the agreement, Lottomatica will act as the network head, with its customers to gain access to a registered user database that exceeds 30 million players.
Other Italian operators will also be able to join the daily fantasy sports (DFS) network and pool user databases together to create larger prize pool offerings and boost contest fill-rate.
Darcy Krogh, chief executive of Global Daily Fantasy Sports said: “We are very excited with the launch of our Italian facing DFS network and look forward to working with our partners to innovate and build daily fantasy sports in Italy.
“The country is one of the largest gaming markets in Europe and is growing exponentially.
“2018 will bring new opportunities with the 2018 Fifa World Cup and the addition of new customers to join our DFS network in Italy.”
