Metric Gaming brokers sportsbook deal with Sportbet

Sports betting technology and services specialist Metric Gaming is to work with Russia-based Sportbet to enhance its sportsbook offering.

Metric will provide Sportbet with all traditional pre-game sportsbook content, in addition to Metric’s SuperLive.

The enhanced service offering will initially be rolled out across Sportbet’s retail shops and should be live by the end of the year. An online launch will follow once Russia’s new internet gaming regulations become operational.

“This is an exciting period for Sportbet; we are soon entering the online betting space thanks to Russia’s new regulations, and naturally wanted the best technology for this new venture,” Sportbet chief operating officer Alexander Astapov said.

“Metric was the right partner to ensure we provide our customers a first class betting experience.”

Metric chairman Peter Bertilsson added: “Sportbet is an important partner for Metric as we continue to expand into regulated markets; we are proud to have been recognised for the broad appeal of our platform technology, and look forward to bringing the latest in betting entertainment to a new jurisdiction with such a well-established name in Russian gaming.”
