RMG launches new racing betting tool with Bet365

Racecourse Media Group (RMG), the holding company for various media and data rights covering 34 of the UK’s premier racecourses, has rolled out a new tool with Bet365 that will enable punters to view potential selections before placing a bet online.

‘Going to Post’ will be made available prior to every race staged at a track that is owned by RMG, including major venues Aintree, Ascot, Cheltenham and Epsom.

The new service will initially go live on the online and mobile platforms of launch partner Bet365, allowing customers with a minimum fund in their accounts to watch horses from six minutes prior to the scheduled race time.

Pictures will be accompanied by audio insight from racecourse commentators.

One minute before a race begins, users will be presented with an opportunity to place a bet in order to watch the race in full.

If the customer has already placed a qualifying bet, then the feed will continue through to the end of the live race.

Nick Mills, commercial director at RMG, said: “This will hopefully aid the decision-making process when it comes to staking a bet.

“The early signs have been very encouraging, with many Bet365 users choosing to use the service.

“The facility is available to all RMG bookmaker partners taking the ‘Bet to View’ service and is also supported by the introduction of ‘Mobile Archive’.”
