Multi-channel content supplier Sports Information Services (SIS) has extended its media rights deal with the Singapore Pools, which will see it continue to distribute live pictures and data from the Singapore Racecourse.

Multi-channel content supplier Sports Information Services (SIS) has extended its media rights deal with the Singapore Pools.

Under the two-year agreement, SIS will continue to distribute live pictures and data from the Singapore Racecourse in Kranji. The deal will cover all races at the venue, including the Singapore Triple Crown Series.

SIS will make the coverage of races available to its retail and online customers in both the UK and Ireland via its new 24/7 Live Betting Channels, an end-to-end solution designed to provide punters with a betting event every three minutes.

“Kranji is one of Asia’s finest horse racing venues and the extension of our deal as the distributor of live pictures and data is fantastic news,” said Simon Fraser, head of international racing at SIS.

Simon Leong, senior director for wagering at Singapore Pools, added: “Our events are gaining in popularity with spectators all around the world, and with SIS making these races easily accessible through its 24/7 Live Betting Channels service, we’re sure even more customers will enjoy the finest racing Singapore has to offer.”

The deal comes after SIS last month also signed a new rights agreement with England’s Ascot Racecourse, granting the supplier international fixed odds betting rights, with the exception of the UK, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore.

In December, SIS also struck up a new partnership with Spanish operator Codere Group, allowing it to broadcast almost 4,000 additional horse races each year from Latin America.
