Sky Bet appoints Weiner as new German chief

Sky Betting & Gaming has appointed Jochen Weiner as managing director of its Sky Bet Deutschland business in Germany.

Sky Betting & Gaming has appointed Jochen Weiner as managing director of its Sky Bet Deutschland business in Germany.

In his new role, he will lead Sky Bet’s strategy to expand its presence in Germany, reporting directly to chief executive Richard Flint.

Weiner served as managing director of Tipp3.de, the now-defunct online betting operator of German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom, from 2015 until earlier this year.

Prior to this, he was business development director at Scientific Games and also spent time as business development manager and media licensing at bwin Interactive Entertainment.
