The Sportech Racing and Digital arm of Sportech has agreed a multichannel deal with Camarero Racetrack in Puerto Rico

The Sportech Racing and Digital arm of Sportech has agreed a multichannel deal with Camarero Racetrack in Puerto Rico.

Under the 10-year agreement, which builds on an existing relationship between the two parties, Sportech will continue to provide pari-mutuel betting technologies and services to Camarero Racetrack and its online betting channels.

Sportech will supply the services using its Quantum System pari-mutuel betting software and local operational services.

The deal also includes an upgrade of Camarero's existing website to Sportech’s latest-generation G4 wagering website platform, while Sportech will also now deploy the Digital Link application for mobile betting at the venue.

In addition, Sportech will provide its virtual racing products to allow Camarero to offer fixed-odds simulated racing through land-based and digital channels.

Andrew Gaughan, president of Sportech Racing and Digital, said: “Camarero is a valued, long-term customer of Sportech Racing and Digital and we are pleased to extend and grow our partnership.

“We look forward to using Sportech's technologies to help Camarero deliver the best possible betting experience to racing fans in Puerto Rico, whether they are visiting the track, using the ganadondesea.com website, or using the new Digital Link mobile betting app.”

The deal comes after Sportech Racing and Digital earlier this week also struck up a multichannel partnership with Parx Racing in the US.
