William Hill Australia is to revive the dormant Centrebet brand in the country after previously bringing the operation under its own name.

In February 2015, the bookmaker said Centrebet, along with Sportingbet and TomWeaterhouse.com, would be incorporated under the William Hill name as part of an effort to streamline its services in the country.

William Hill took ownership of the three brands in separate deals struck during 2013.

As part of the Centrebet revival, a website and mobile application will launch in the country, with the brand pledging to deliver the highest available limits on Australian metropolitan horse racing and major sports events.

Tom Waterhouse, chief executive of William Hill Australia, said: “This is a great day for the Australian punter and for betting.

“Centrebet is the only option for all punters who want the best price and the only place the professionals can get a big bet on.”
