Amaya names Bowskill as new technical chief

Amaya has appointed Jerry Bowskill, formerly of Playtech and Scientific Games, as its new chief technology officer.

Amaya has appointed Jerry Bowskill, formerly of Playtech and Scientific Games, as its new chief technology officer.

Bowskill will assume responsibility for the overall technology performance and strategy of the business, reporting directly to chief executive Rafi Ashkenazi.

Amaya Bowskill will also drive its technology strategy in order to “to maximise the potential” of the company’s expanding product suite.

“I am excited to be joining such a continuously evolving consumer tech company and to help lead its growth through the efficient delivery of high quality products and services, development of innovative new products, and continued expansion of its offerings,” Bowskill.

Prior to joining Amaya, Bowskill served as a technology consultant for Partis Solutions, after a spell as chief technology officer at TouchTunes Interactive Networks.

Earlier in his career, Bowskill spent time in various roles at Scientific Games and was also technology and solutions director at Playtech.
