IGT has become the latest gambling company to commit its support to the All-in Diversity Project.

The industry-driven, not-for-profit initiative launched last year to “benchmark” diversity, equality, and inclusion across the global gambling market.

As both a founding member and participant, IGT will support the All-in Diversity Project with its various work and initiatives.

Work includes providing a year-on-year progress update; highlighting successes, challenges and opportunities; and making best-practice recommendations on diversity and inclusion topics for the gaming industry.

“The gaming industry is unique and requires its own benchmarking in order to yield the most reliable and applicable data,” IGT vice-president of diversity and inclusion, Kim Barker Lee, said.

“We need an open discussion on industry-specific barriers to inclusion and diversity, and offer opportunities to improve.

“Understanding where we are today will inform what we need to do to move the bar and make a lasting impact.”

Kelly Kehn, co-founder of the All-in Diversity Project, which is also backed by Paddy Power Betfair, added: “IGT’s commitment to diversity and inclusion will help serve as a shining example to the industry globally as to leadership on progress toward workplace equality.”
