NetEnt has expanded its services into Latin America after securing a deal with Codere in Mexico.

The Spanish gaming operator, an existing customer of NetEnt, will now be able to offer NetEnt online casino content to operators in the country through its current licence.

Codere already has a presence in the land-based casino markets in Spain, Italy and Latin America.

“This is our first market entry in Latin America and marks another milestone as we follow our long-term strategy to enter and grow in new regulated markets,” NetEnt America managing director Björn Krantz said.

“I’m convinced that we can support Codere’s online casino growth and that players in Mexico will enjoy our world-class, thrilling games.”

Meanwhile, NetEnt has added ‘Secrets of Christmas’ to its selection of video slot games.

The five-reel, three-row and 25-line title features a Christmas theme, with the company hoping to attract interest from consumers during the festive season.

Players will benefit from a number of special, in-game features, such as a free spins bonus.

Simon Hammon, chief product officer of NetEnt, said: “Christmas is just around the corner, so it’s time for players get in the mood for the festive period with Secrets of Christmas.

“With high quality gameplay, a slick user interface and a huge helping of NetEnt creativity, we’re sure our latest release will bring the Christmas cheer.”
