Paddy Power Betfair to use Balabit monitoring solution

Paddy Power Betfair is to use Balabit’s Shell Control Box (SCB) monitoring solution to boost the security of its product development processes.

The solution, which will also enable the operator to monitor privileged access to production systems, provides session recording to ensure that all developers’ activities are monitored, accountable and traceable.

Users connect to production servers through SCB and, after being granted access to the server, SCB monitors and records all activities in a tamper-proof way.

Betfair deployed the solution in 2015, with Paddy Power now following suit after the recent merger between the two brands.
