Portugal’s Solverde to launch online gaming with NYX

Portuguese land-based casino operator Solverde is to expand its services into the online gaming market through a new agreement with NYX Gaming Group.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed by both parties, Solverde will integrate digital content and player account management via NYX’s Open Platform System.

Solverde will also launch a range of slots and scratchcards from NYX subsidiary NextGen Gaming launch across its websites.The agreement also includes NYX BI, a business intelligence solution that enables online casino operators to monitor and analyse player activity in real time.

The deal comes after the Portuguese government announced that it is to begin issuing online gambling licences to companies wishing to operate in the country.

Americo Loureiro, director of Solverde, said: “Solverde has chosen, after a thorough market consultation identifying the main players of the sector, NYX Gaming Group for their demonstrated capacity, quality of service presented and, above all, the client portfolio it already holds.”
