NYX signs with New Zealand Racing Board
NYX Gaming Group has entered into a partnership with the New Zealand Racing Board (NZRB).
The contract will cover the detailed design phase of the NZRB’s new fixed-odds betting (FOB) platform project.
NYX’s OpenBet wholly-owned sportsbook division will now work with the NZRB to automate and enhance the organisation’s largely manual fixed-odds betting business.
The NZRB previously stated that, once active, the FOB platform could bring in at least an additional NZ$17 million (€11.5 million/US$12.3 million) in annualised profit per year.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the leader in digital wagering and look forward to working with the team to design and deliver a bespoke experience for TAB customers that will put us at the front of the market in the face of ever increasing competition,” NZRB chairman Glenda Hughes said.
Matt Davey, group chief executive of NYX, added: “Our proven record of accomplishment in delivering a comprehensive range of sportsbook solutions across a diverse range of market and regulatory conditions is simply unrivalled.
“We have the necessary blend of experience and expertise to positively influence the detailed design phase of NZRB’s fixed odds betting platform project.”
