Inspired moves into Finland with Veikkaus

Inspired Entertainment has expanded its service offering into the Finnish market after securing a new deal with Veikkaus.

Owned by the Finnish State, Veikkaus operates as the Finnish National Lottery and holds an exclusive gambling licence on lottery and casino games, as well as sports and horse betting, in the country.

Under the new deal, Inspired has rolled out a series of its virtual sports titles in retail venues and online with Veikkaus.

Finnish punters can now access seven Inspired virtual sports including ‘Rush Football 2’, ‘Rush Horses’, ‘Rush Dogs 2’ and ‘Rush Cycling’.

“We are committed to bringing our customers the most entertaining and engaging betting products available, and we are certainly achieving this with the addition of seven new Virtual Sports from Inspired’s varied portfolio,” Veikkaus vice-president sports, horses and table games, Sami Kauhanen, said.

Steve Rogers, chief commercial officer, digital games at Inspired, added: “Our virtual sports products are renowned for their world-class quality and ability to be easily integrated into existing sports betting platforms, and we are proud to be the Finnish National Lottery’s preferred partner.”

The move comes after Inspired earlier this week also announced that it has gone live with a further three operators in the US state of New Jersey.

Inspired has now launched with Golden Nugget, Caesars and Resorts, with plans to also go live with Bwin Borgata and Pala Interactive in the near future.
