Betway signs up to support ESL Pro League

Betway has agreed a deal to sponsor season six of professional esports contest the ESL Pro League.

The operator already offers a range of betting options on esports events but will now expand this by adding live odds to the broadcast of the ESL Pro League.

In addition, viewers will gain an insight into the unique content that Betway has produced with its brand ambassadors in esports.

Season six of the ESL Pro League began earlier this week and will run for a period of 17 weeks, with 14 European and 14 North American teams to compete in a series of online matches for an overall prize pool of $1m (€848,000).

Betway has a number of partnerships in place across the professional sports industry, and last week expanded this portfolio by brokering a new deal with German Bundesliga football club Werder Bremen.
