BMM Testlabs has named Gene Chayevsky as executive vice-president of Europe and South America.

Chayevsky joins the gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy after spending more than 25 years in executive management and investment banking.

Earlier in his career, Chayevsky had a spell as chairman and chief executive of gaming manufacturer Cadillac Jack.

“I am really pleased to join the BMM executive team and, having been a customer in the past, really appreciate the quality and culture of the company,” Chayevsky said.

“We are seeing rapid growth across our European and South American regions, specifically in the areas of online, sports betting and security.

“By unifying our business and technical management teams we will continue to maintain the highest level of independent quality testing in the region.”

Martin Storm, president and chief executive of BMM, added: “Europe and South America are both fast developing gaming regions with many countries already regulated, and potentially many more on the way, as governments look to the benefits of regulated gaming industries.

“We are also seeing the merger of online and land-based business and many companies looking to international opportunities for growth.”

“To meet the increasing demand for BMM’s testing and certification services we continue to make significant investments in these regions, and e are very pleased to welcome Gene to our executive team.”
