Evolution teams up with Hard Rock Atlantic City
Evolution Gaming will launch a live online casino via the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City this summer after the New Jersey venue became the technology company’s latest US licensee.
Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker and Slingshot Roulette will all feature from the outset. The platform will be available to players in New Jersey across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms.
Evolution also plans to launch three dedicated blackjack tables at the Hard Rock that will be exclusive to their own players, as well as an Evolution Dual Play Roulette table. The latter will be open to bets from European players plus those in New Jersey.
“We are especially excited by the potential of the Evolution Dual Play Roulette table that will be located on the new casino’s main gaming floor,” James Stern, Evolution’s director of business development and land-based sales, said.
“By allowing remote online players to play alongside on-premise players at the same gaming floor table, Dual Play will give remote players a taste of what will be a unique Hard Rock experience.
“In a very competitive market where the power of the brand is so important, Dual Play — alongside all the other world-class live casino games to be offered to the Hard Rock’s online players — will play an important role in drawing players to this exciting new Hard Rock property.”
Last month, Evolution said that its New Jersey live casino studio would launch with 10 tables in the coming two months.
The Hard Rock, previously called the Trump Taj Mahal under its previous owners, recently reopened after undergoing a $500m (£393m/€438m) transformation.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Hard Rock International brand purchased the site in March 2017.
