iGaming solutions giant Playtech has moved to enhance its live casino portfolio by launching two new roulette titles and revamping its Hi-Lo game.

American Roulette is one of the two new roulette variants, based in the Playtech Live Grand Royale room and offering a high-end product to customers. The game features a double zero roulette wheel and offers an increased margin compared to regular European-style roulette titles.

Playtech has also rolled out Spread-Bet Roulette, which it said adds a new twist to traditional roulette play with a unique side bet feature. The game features a physical wheel and the ‘Spin a Win’ reel, powered by a random number generator. This combination offers players up to seven different side bet options, with the potential for wins of up to 400x their stake.

In addition, Playtech has relaunched its Hi-Lo game as Hi-Lo Club, with a focus on improves user experience, room design and fast-paced play to appeal more to modern players. The game has a 1980s Miami theme with neon detailing, a new table-top table and integrated soundtrack

“The demand for experience-focused gameplay amongst the modern generation of Live Casino players is stronger than ever,” Playtech’s head of live innovation for live casino, Kevin Kilminster, said. “Live Casino is part of the entertainment industry as well as the gambling industry – the presentation and atmosphere we can deliver is what makes players choose Live over standard RNG games.

“With the addition of American Roulette, Hi-Lo Club and Spread-Bet Roulette to our range, we can offer players an even more immersive and exciting entertainment experience.”

The three games are now on general release across the Playtech Live Casino network and are fully integrated with Playtech’s Engagement Centre.

The triple launch comes after Playtech last week announced a new slot game with a built-in Game Modifier feature to customise play for certain players. Developed by the Playtech Origins studio, Space Digger enables operators to tweak gameplay for groups of players or individual customers.
