Playtech extends Fortuna CZ partnership with mobile casino
Industry giant Playtech announced today (27 July) it has extended its partnership with Fortuna in the Czech Republic, through the launch of end-user versions of its native casino app in the jurisdiction.
The customisable app offers the option to add extra sections and promotions to its home screen, as well as support for 24 languages and a variety of regulatory environments.
The Czech roll-out of the Fortuna-branded versions of the app expands on the omni-channel solution developed by Playtech for the operator earlier this year.
The new app’s launch will significantly expand the range of games Fortuna customers in the Czech Republic have access to, with the addition of popular slots such as Buffalo Blitz and Ways of the Phoenix, as well as a range of roulette and blackjack games.
Playtech was the first supplier to enter the regulated Czech online casino market through its Fortuna-branded casino app in 2017. The companies’ partnership has since expanded to see Playtech’s IMS player management platform become the core platform used by all Fortuna brands across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Croatia.
“Since introducing our omni-channel solution to Fortuna in its core Czech market earlier this year, our partnership has gone from strength to strength,” Playtech casino director James Frendo said. “We’re very pleased to have the native casino app in place so quickly to seamlessly deliver such a wide range of casino games and look forward to building on our relationship with Fortuna as a key strategic partner in the region.”
David Vozábal, group head of product development at Fortuna, added: “We’ve been delighted with both the fast progress on the native casino app project and the end result, which, as well as tackling potential technical restraints, opens up a true native experience for our players.
“We look forward to continuing to build on an excellent working relationship with Playtech.”
