Data deep dive: Trends in LatAm casino
Latin America (LatAm) is arguably the most talked about emerging region in iGaming over the past few years, largely thanks to the coming-online of Brazil. Much thought and analysis has gone into what players across LatAm want and like to play.
What does the data have to say about player preferences for online casino games in LatAm? In partnership with eGamingMonitor, iGB has compiled statistics on what iGaming players are spending their money on — and whose games are coming out on top.
Top casino game suppliers in LatAm
Operators across LatAm utilise a broad range of casino game providers to run their iGaming sites.
Some suppliers have naturally come out on top, though the data shows a surprisingly competitive playing field.
Pragmatic Play dominates supplier group share of total gametiles in 2025, accounting for 18.9%, followed by Evolution Gaming at 10.9%, with Games Global (6.6%) and Playtech (6.0%) showcasing a strong top tier of gambling suppliers.
Beyond the leading four, the market becomes highly fragmented, with most suppliers contributing between 0.5% and 3.5%, including EGT, Novomatic, and Play’n GO.
Notably, a significant 16.2% is attributed to ‘Others’, which highlights a relatively large portion of smaller providers collectively holding a meaningful share of the market.
Top performing casino game types
Naturally, a variety of casino game types are played across LatAm. As in many markets across the world, slot games are the biggest vertical. The data shows that they claim by far the most screenshare in LatAm markets.
Slots largely dominate the 2025 games mix, accounting for 77.6% of all titles, with live games a distant second at 8.6%.
All other categories contribute relatively small shares, led by cards (3.0%) and a mix of other niche formats such as scratch, roulette, and bingo, each under 2%.
The remaining game types collectively form a group of low-volume offerings, which demonstrates a highly concentrated market centred on slot content.
