Playtech and AMC networks announce multi-title gaming partnership

Playtech Secures Exclusive Worldwide Rights to AMC’s The Walking Dead and WE tv’s Bridezillas and Marriage Boot Camp

Playtech, the world’s leading gambling technology company, and AMC Networks today announces a new partnership that will give Playtech exclusive worldwide rights to a range of AMC and WE tv branded titles, including AMC’s The Walking Dead franchise and WE tv’s Bridezillas and the Marriage Boot Camp franchise, to develop and distribute online gambling experiences based on the hit series. These experiences are expected to release in digital casinos later this year and in 2022.

This unprecedented agreement goes a long way in supporting a key pillar of Playtech’s branded content strategy; to deliver the highest quality, entertainment-led content to online gambling operators in regulated markets.

The Walking Dead television franchise, produced by AMC Studios, is a global phenomenon that has enjoyed over a decade of unparalleled viewership, boasting millions of fans worldwide, and is the most-watched TV show in US cable history. The series’ final season of 24 episodes begins Sunday Aug 22.
