SOFTSWISS and Clarion leaders debate bold iGaming statements
SOFTSWISS, a leading international technology provider with over 15 years in iGaming, organised a special debate between two market leaders: Valentina Bagniya, SOFTSWISS CMO, and Robin Harrison, global content director at Clarion Gaming, to talk through the most controversial industry topics, such as brand, strategy, and content.
Influential experts debunk tricky statements, sharing their viewpoints on the spot, without preparation. Among the many topics discussed in the podcast are the impact of creativity in business, the types of information most valuable to iGaming leaders, and the role of industry reports in today’s marketing strategies.
Valentina Bagniya, chief marketing officer at SOFTSWISS, is a recognised industry leader. She was named Marketer of the Year at the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards 2025. The same year, the team she leads was awarded the Marketing Team of the Year, and one of their campaigns received the Best Marketing Campaign award.
Robin Harrison, global content director at Clarion Gaming, has a strong knowledge and influence in the market. Experienced across multiple industries, he is also the co-creator and producer of iGB’s longest-running podcast, World Series of Politics, and co-hosts the recently launched Right the Source podcast together with Ed Birkin, managing director at H2 Gambling Capital.
“This podcast is a chance to have the kind of conversation the industry often misses – honest, unscripted and practical. We didn’t know the topics in advance, so the discussion stayed real, spontaneous, and genuinely engaging. We look at bold iGaming marketing statements through the lens of what really drives results: brand trust, player attention, and performance. I enjoyed challenging assumptions and exploring different viewpoints with Robin, and I hope listeners will take away clear ideas they can apply right away,” said Bagniya.
“I enjoyed this podcast because we don’t just repeat popular opinions, we test them. In iGaming, there’re a lot of people making grand statements, but it’s important to cut through the noise and the rhetoric. We talked through the big claims around brand, content, and strategy, and I hope listeners will leave with a clearer view of these disciplines in gaming, not to mention ideas they can actually use,” said Harrison.
The podcast is available on the SOFTSWISS PRODUCTS channel, offering insights into some of the most challenging aspects of iGaming marketing in 2026.
